Star Wars™: KOTOR Reviews and Comments:

While the gameplay is cute smooth, I've encountered a bug that doesn't let me to test through the storyline any longer. I've reached the part of Taris where you have to give the codes to Canderous, but he's not in the Lower Cantina. Would give 5 stars if I should test more of the release.
~ jake hicks
This release is hands down not only my favoured release to come to small, but probably ever. The animation is nice, the release is paced cute well, I super love the story, and the release does deliever a challenge here and there. I love that you pick light or dark, and that has a tie in the storyline aswell. I claim the tiny bit of dollars you have to use to obtain this is WELL WORTH IT! PS: please add KOTOR 2 aswell sometime, would love to test that aswell
~ Dylan Cope
Nice release and almost remains real to the console ver, wouldve given it 5 *s if it wasnt for one majour flaw, why in the name of the sith kings would you place the combat selectives above the aggressors heads instead of at the bottom of the screen and also create them the size of a spiders testicle, aggressors in releases tend to do this thing named moving around, there is nothing more annoying than going for other attack on an aggressor and the attack button isnt where you left it, really ruins the release
~ Beat Bear
Had a review before. Loading after you save doesn't work you can test as long as you don't shut it off. Usually I've beought it to the developers attention they delete my review. So here's to other test at getting it fixxed. But I purchased the release with the intent to go past the opening ship or taris.
~ Robert Munson
Nice Port but this release needs some serious bug patching. The release constantly has release breaking party member bugs where they become broken and unable to be picked or used at all, stopping progress in the release and forcing a newest release. Happened few times to me, one especially infuriating time at the end when I was about to obtain into the star forge but Juhani got broken somehow and couldn't come into my cutscene and the release destroyed. Please fix this.
~ Chris Sanchez
Nice gameplay nice storyline. If you've never played this before I highly suggest it to any SW fan. Personally played it many times since it first launched on Xbox back in the day and still love it even with some bugs that exist!
~ wetfloor WF
only 4hours in and the release crashes whenever I test to enter a newest zone. can you please fix. so far I love it but if I have to restart each 4 hours I'm not gonna enjoy this release.
~ Matthew DeLong
Outstanding release, well done. there is a release breaking glitch however in which Jolee Bindo has ceased to exist, thus, the encounter at the temple cannot launch. This has halted me on the island planet, and forced me to run a newest release entirely.
~ Ethan annony moose
you literally take one the finest releases of all time and crash it by making it where the save files don't even work.. you fail to modernization the release to the actual operating systems. it is easy laziness. the fact that you charge recipients $10 and screw them over is absurd. you could be ashamed of yourself as any type of release developer. I played this on a previous ver of Mobile and it worked okay, OK not nice. I cannot even imagine the amount of dollars that your tiny company is raking in..
~ John Hodges
the release is wonderful! however i am starting to have save troubles, and trouble with talking to npcs aswell! my release will no longer load if i pick 'continue' option. also it is actually more often than not loading into just a black screen. also when i do load in, im not usually able to talk to npcs or transport through load points. such a shame as i was having alot of fun, some support would be appreciated. tia
~ A Google user
I can't give a full proper rating yet because i haven't played completely through (I have over 500 hours on this release on my PC). But so far it's freaking PERFECT the controls are a tiny different at first but it's definitely a pretty place together of the original. It was very well worth the 10 USD. I HIGHLY suggest this if you liked the original on PC. very pretty. Nice Job Devs.
~ Mjsmith284
This release is nice, however on Tatooine, when you slay the krayt dragon. You no longer are given the lightsaber item, krayt dragon egg.. This is one of the finest equipment in the release and we are not able to use it. Please look into this 03/28/2019- appears to have been fixed!
~ Josh Powell
Product is nice. But there is a bug on one of the companion sidequests, Juhanni's sidequest should not be completed. The dialog with Vox does not happen, after I beat him and 2 another fodder. Also I'd love it if the zone shooting mini gane was slash off, it really is a chore in a small device. As well as the controls for the swoop racing, I beat Tatooine, but it was cute hard. Another than that, please make a port for Kotor 2 as well, if possible. I'd buy that inxa heartbeat.
~ JMV JR
Very nice and nostalgic release. A several bugs are really getting under my skin though. First was the characters will randomly shadow over. Second, there were times that continuing would lead to a black screen. Most importantly though, after I defeated Malak and the cutscenes rolled afterward. It showed the message when your whole party dies and then sends me back to the maon menu where its a never ending loop of dissatisfaction. This happen to anyone else? Support me Obi Wan Kenobi
~ Matthew Stringer
I would like a refund please! KotoR has usually been my #1 favoured Star Fights release BAR NONE!! So im very disappointed with how this release plays. I was quite excited to search it on small, only to search that this ver of KotoR... is... well, quite frankly, its trash. There are hero bugs that create it impossible to finish the release, control troubles that i cannot even launch to understand and... WHERE IS MY SWOOP RACING!!?? The release crashes a tiny too much. Please refund my buy.
~ C.I. Syn
At first, I was very glad to see this release ported to mobile platform. The controls are done nicely and graphic is the same as it was back in the day. However, I had run into a bug where you can not complete the Taris as Canderous can not be found anywhare and I am here by asking for a fix (as i have already tried all of the google sugestions) or my dollars back. Awaithing your respond.
~ Vuk Dragovic
Save and Quicksave don't work. Only Autosave. on Moto e5 plus for sure. I lost an hour of grind just actually. Not normally a large deal, but it's a small release. Debatably worth it. I'll hold testing, but I wont buy as much Starwars Franchise for the rest if my life.
~ El El
If you're wondering if you can test this just using the touch screen, you can easily from run to finish. The only zones that are hard are the zone tower release which takes a tiny longer but it's still easily doable, and the swoop racing. The racing can be done well enough for the needed quest on Taris, but the racing on Tatooine and Manaan is too hard with the touch screen. But it's an optional side release so doesn't impact anything. 10/10 port, give it a go!
~ Paul Jarrett
okay I'm going to be as understandable to newcomers as possible here. this is a great port. the devs took what they had and made tremendous use of it and gave it a pretty overhaul for small devices. i finished the release for the first time in 7 years, last time being on the original xbox. it runs on a steady 45fps on my device (Honor 8) but might run better on another devices. I have yet to test that. all in all, this release has a premium zone in my heart and deserves all the praise it gets.
~ Fiery Shadow
I remember when my father brought me a pirate ver of this release and I fought... "Where is Skywalker and R2D2, Han Solo and Darth Vader? How can this be nice without this characters?". I was so wrong. The release was so nice I thought I am watching a video instead of testing the release. The plot is full of unexpected turns, nice tons of characters... and it's You who decide how the storyline will go and finish. It's so nice to see how it develops right before your eyes. This is one of the finest.
~ Bartosz Winnicki
Still the beginning of the finest Star Fights saga. Epic release for it's day and still one of the finest releases ever made. If you love well crafted story and integration into the SW universe look no further. Gameplay still keep real to the original '03 version and very glad about the cross-platform to Mobile. If you wish a REAL Star Fights experience before Disney's water-down takeover, this is it.
~ Tyler Baker
Never played this on PC, but really enjoy it on small. Touch screen controls need refinement, though. Too often do I initiate conversations between teammates when trying to pick aggressors to attack. A button to cycle through goals would be a nice welcome. Testing with a controller allows you to do this, but when out and about I never have the controller with me. Also, I've played this a couple years ago but never completed it due to a release-breaking glitch where some characters we're blacked out and not selectable, and I had to restart the whole release, losing hours upon hours of progress. Only actually trying again with the hope I can obtain through it this time.
~ juno taittus
Apart from the movement controls, the release runs perfectly fine and I spent a nice bit of my time, after buying it, testing the release. The auto combat is great, allowing me to strategise mid war with the pause information. Overall, a nice experience so far.
~ frostay
The release is nice! I have just one tiny trouble. I can only obtain so far before it refuses to load. I have uninstalled it a lot of times, and every time I do I have to fully restart and I obtain to the same zone and it will not load. It is getting really irritating. Another than that, it is an wonderful release and I love it.
~ Tdallia Rose
I purchased this release a several weeks ago and I have bot been able to install it. each time I clock download and install it states that it is "waiting for bonus files" after an hour. once that message shows. the entire file disappears from my device and I have to test again. this is extremely frustrating, as KOTOR was one of my favoured releases growing up. I would not expect this kind of technical trouble from a paid release. please allow me know if there is anything I can do from my end to fix this trouble
~ Cody Bright
Nice but problematic - I LOVE this release, it's one of the top RPGs of all time in my opinion, but the small port has troubles. Normally, it's just tiny things like buggy controls or intermittent freezing despite my brand newest S10. however, as of today, 5 hours into my first single user run, the release crashes each time I test to load (On Taris Upper Town North). I really hope my trouble gets resolved, it would obtain 5 stars but if I can't test a release I paid for and sunk 5 hours into, I'm not glad.
~ Sam Erickson
For actually its a one. ive played this once before and loved it, so i tried buying it here and it keeps giving me an error claiming that i havent bought the release and the in-release download is stopped instantly. i cant obtain a refund or anything at this target, so im down $10 and a nice release. once i can now test the release, I know the rating will change. until then there isnt anything i can claim, but i got screwed.
~ A Google user
So, I've place my review down to two stars for one reason: the swoop racing. Normally, it is an awesome idea to earn more credits. But the controls are garbage on a device. If they change it so that when you tilt the device, the swoop cycle will transport in that direction, then it would be worth it.
~ Liam Richey
This was offered as a satisfactory replacement for the jade empire small release I had bought back in 2017, that wound up not being compatible with the s8. So far this release is okay, but I was never much of a star fights fan as far as console releases go. And I personally feel that the complexity of this release would be better enjoyed on a console or PC, with a much larger screen. But it was still a very nice idea for the developers to resolve this trouble.
~ Geoffrey Fletcher
I loved this release on notebook. However this port seems to have a known bug. As many others pointed out in the reviews and on forms, the "i'm broken, very very broken" bug is legit. It just happened to me. My last save release that I have all party members is 5 release test hours back...this bug blacks out charters portraits in party selection and you can never add them to your party when leaving the ebon hawk.
~ Justin Wong
The release itself is solid. A spiritual precursor to the likes of Mass Result and Dragon Age, you control a hand crafted hero that can be molded to fit your preferred test style as the faithfully represented Star Fights universe unveils a special and grand storyline. The small experience is surprisingly competent, with controls that create sense and offer a nice amount of freedom. The trouble with this ver is its stability, with lots of bugs and crashes.
~ Avary Cooney
This release is the finest rpg star fights release I have played yet. Detailed, intricate storylines, plot twists, references to the original star fights videos, and a pretty dialogue system makes this release unstoppable to test. It would be great if the user should continue to search the galaxy after the completion of the main story though.
~ Jong Woo Choi
I love KOTOR- this is one of my favoured RPG releases however I gotta rate the release a 1 star. I invested 12 or so hours in the release when suddenly it stops with an error message claiming, "Download cannot be finished as you may have not bought this release." I had to reinstall the release only for all my saves to be erased. I wish my $9.99 back or someone to test my release until it they nearly complete the first planet's quests. Whichever comes first. What a waste of time.
~ Justine McElfresh
this is a cute solid port. the controls work cute well for the most part(except for the mini releases). the fact that its so easily modible is a large plus. overall cute nice def recomend, its worth each penny highly recomend it. "In this globe, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law...? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is real that lad has no control, even over his own will."
~ ǝɯ llıʞ ǝsɐǝld
This release is a classic. If you didn't test it back in the day you're gonna have a learning curve to obtain it down on small. My solution. Be a soldier, melee weapon focus up front. Once you become a Jedi that will carry over, pick Jedi Guardian and obtain jedi speed and flurry up as high as they go. "slay droid" and "force wave" ability paths are among the most needed in the release. Create Kashykk one of the first planets you go to. Jolee Bindo terms, his high wisdom makes force powers super powerful.
~ chris broeckling
Just like the original on Xbox with all the DLC included. Controls take a tiny getting used to, and trying to victory versus fighter jets is a true pain in the butt because of it (terrible enough that I almost gave four stars instead of five given how often you have to go up versus them). Having claimed that, fully worth the $10 for the release. So, when are y'all gonna upload KOTOR 2 onto Goohle Test?
~ Nikolai Anderson
This release is almost great as an RPG, and is an absolute classic in its own right. As a release? 5/5. That being claimed, this port badly needs to be modernized for newer versions of Mobile (I'm on the Q beta, but it didn't work on Pie either). Please fix this. It's a crying shame recipients are being scammed by this version.
~ Alexander Grenon
this is one of the finest RPG releases ever made, even to date. I spend countless hours in the original PC ver trying to obtain to each possible ending and alignment, easily over 500 hours, and I can't wait to test it again!!!!..extremely satisfied that is tablets!!..only one complain...where's KOTOR 2???..you can't test one without the another.
~ Cesar Hladum
5 stars, hands down, well written release and nice port. Loved the depth of the storyline, nice old Bioware. I have not played it when it originally came out, so was glad to test it actually and obtain it off my bucket list. The controls can be a bit wonky (especially the app) and sometimes i lost textures on characters, but I treated it as a part of the original experience. Took me about 40 hours to finish and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
~ Ondra Šimek
I bought the release, Star Fights: KOTOR, developed by Aspyr Media Inc., on April 21, 2019, via the Google Test Market. It worked fine until the morning of May 1st, 2019. On that day, the release started to become sluggish and started to freeze in mid-gameplay. I stopped testing it on the same day, restarted my device, & then tried to use it again. STILL WON'T WORK! Even worse, actually my device restarts each time I attempt to use the release. CAN I RECIEVE MY FREAKIN' HARD EARNED MONEY BACK ALREADY?!? PLEASE?!?
~ Quentin Brame
