Other hilarious romantic comedy from the dynamic duo that is Christina Lauren, this one in the form of an aggressors to lovers storyline that is anything but typical. Olive and Ethan are firmly in the love to hate you genre, but it's impossible for them to avoid every another when his brother is marrying her sister. While I felt like the storyline was a bit longer than it required to be, the quips and banter between this pair, plus the crazy cases they search themselves in, hold the momentum going at a steady pace. The chemistry between Ethan and Olive is crazy nice even when they're still hating on every another, and I love how the romance type of sneaks up on them. There is a bit of angst, but overall, the storyline is just what a nice romantic comedy could be - lighthearted and loads of fun.
~ Becky Baldridge
When I saw the cover and read the synopsis for The Unhoneymooners I couldn't wait to obtain my hands on it. Not only was it a funny and entertaining aggressors to lovers romance, but it also had so much heart. I loved how important the bonds of family (for better and for worse) were in this storyline. Olive's family especially was such a treat and I really enjoyed this glimpse into the Mexican-American family. Ethan and Olive did some serious verbal sparring through this ebook and they really lived up to the "aggressors" portion of the trope. They every gave as nice as they got and I loved their banter and back and forth. The forced proximity trope is usually a fun one and seeing Ethan and Olive's impression of the another evolve and change as they spend more time together was unbelievable. It's nice how one look or moment can change the course of an whole relationship. As much as I enjoyed The Unhoneymooners, I can't claim that I fully loved it. I think a lot of that has to do with Ethan. He certainly had some swoony moments, but honestly I'm still a tiny unsure how I feel about him. I don't wish to be too spoilery, but mistakes are definitely made by both Ethan and Olive and a decision late in the ebook had me wanting to throw my kindle across the room. I understand family loyalty, but it still harm my heart so much. I think it really colourful my opinion of Ethan and Olive's relationship and caused me to not feel the "to lovers" part of the trope one hundred percent. I think having Ethan's POV sprinkled into the storyline would have been really useful in understanding his hero better. The epilogue left me smiling though and really brought the ebook full circle. Overall, this was a nice read and I'm already looking forward to the next Christina Lauren journey! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this ebook*

Christina and Lauren.. this ebook had me dying in laughter. I was literally laughing out loud. Terrible Olive. This ebook was nice as in all the ebooks which I have read and loved. Cant wait until October for the next ebook. Love you guys!!!

I was fully skeptical at first. I now found this ebook on YouTube in a to be read video. I do not regret this ebook. It kept me hungry for more; I should not place this ebook down. I honestly did not wish this ebook to end. Incredible Characters you fall in love with, adrenline pumping, and hilarius at points. I absolutely love this ebook!
~ Chelsey Woods
Nice ebook! Laugh out loud humor, romance, light steam and just the right amount of tribulations, create this one of my top reads. Identical twin sisters, who should not be more different, two brothers who again are fully different, come together in this fun romance. The interactions of the crazy, loving family, the ex-paramour and “Calamity Olive” are the sweet base of this outrageous, fun romp. Don’t miss this one!
~ Linda Dossett
This was such a fun, relaxing read. I loved Ethan and Olive and all their crazy. Olive has the worse luck ever. Her sister does not. But when the tables turn and Olive’s sister and brand newest brother-in-law are laid weak from meal poisoning, it’s possible her luck has changed. With a newest job lined up and her relationship with Ethan moving from aggressors to something more, things are looking up. Actually if they can keep it together once the honeymoon is over. I absolutely adored this heroine, which is rare for me as I’m all about the superhero. Olive had such a nice, quirky outlook at life, even if it did seem a bit Eeyore-ish at times, a condition she eventually realizes and corrects. She’s the kind of person I’d fully hang out with and love each minute of it. Her inner thoughts had me grinning and laughing as well as shaking my head at some of her antics. I would reread this ebook all over again because of her. We don’t obtain a look into Ethan’s thoughts until the epilogue and I really missed having it. It wasn’t simple to claim what he was thinking and his actions didn’t usually speak louder than words. As the storyline unfolds and we are given stats from him I grew to love him. He’s not an alpha superhero, but something, dare I claim…better? He’s the kind of lad you’d wish in your life usually. He’s just a regular guy with regular reactions and some insecurities as well as being fallible. In the end, with that epilogue, I was sold fully. This is such an entertaining read, a tiny lengthy but never boggy and with some drama that didn’t consume the entire storyline. The chemistry between these two was felt but not sizzling and I’d consider this a bit lite on the smexy times. Nevertheless, it was a unbelievable ebook and I’d suggest it to anyone who enjoys a light hearted, weak angst, aggressors-to-lovers romance.
~ Carla VanZandt
4.5 Delicious Stars! I absolutely loved this hilarious, heartfelt aggressors-to-lovers romance! This slow burn, rom-com is filled with witty banter, awkward and hilarious cases, and a sweet and sexy story with lots of heart. Olive and Ethan meet when Olive's twin sister launches dating Ethan's brother. They have a misunderstanding that leads to few years of them not getting along. Actually they are on a nonpaid, dream holidays when their sister and brother, along with the rest of the wedding party, falls ill. Their trip runs off rocky, but I loved how Olive and Ethan slowly launch to reconcile their flawed history. When they obtain home, their close knit and quirky family cause more hilarity, complications, and drama that had me laughing out loud, swooning, and cheering for Olive and Ethan's HEA. I am a gigantic fan of a nice grand gesture and I loved this one so much! This is the first time I've read this duo's work, and I can't wait to read more from them!
~ Karen Gagnon
Oh my goodness! This one was so nice I read it practically in one sitting and would have if life wouldn't have intruded (drat that job!) but I highly suggest picking this one up instantly! Olive is the unlucky twin (and usually has considered herself to be so) and actually she is standing up for her twin sister (the lucky twin) at her wedding. That is okay except the finest lad is her nemesis and the brother of the groom. Spending 24 hours with him is terrible enough but when they are the only ones who are not struck with meal poisoning at the reception and the honeymoon to Hawaii is up for grabs and the bride and groom insist they take advantage of it, all bets are off. How are they going to spend two weeks together? Simple, all they have to do is there there and sleep in the same room, that is until forces beyond their control in the form of Olives newest boss and Ethan's former fiancee are at the same resort. Oh no! They are actually forced to now act like honeymooners! Cozy and loving and everything! This was smart, witty, FUN, sexy, and oh-so hilarious, I found myself giggling and the dogs looking at me with their heads tilted. Such great banter, the pages several by until I thought my kindle was going to combust. This is a standalone and would be a great beach read but would probably induce sunburn because you would not wish to place it down. **Received this ARC for review from the publisher via NetGalley**
~ Pennie Morgan
4.5 stars The Unhoneymooners is laugh out loud funny and cringe inducing awkward all at the same time. Between purchased of snort like laughter and honestly cringe inducing moments (like a certain reception), you will be too busy speeding through the ebook to realize you've already got the end. I almost cried when I realized it was over. I had so much fun and am still shaking my head at certain scenes. The Unhoneymooners is definitely a rare treat. Awkward humor, wildly inappropriate meetings, and hilarious injuries/bathroom moments are just the hint.... (Where did you think I was going with that!?! It is a honeymoon after all!)😆 Fun, funny, and snort inducing The Unhoneymooners is worth your time, coupons, and all the sweepstakes entries ever! Luck has nothing to do with it! Christina Lauren own your heart, mind, and funny bone in this ebook. No lucky pennies required!
~ Rebecca Rendon
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review** The Unhoneymooners written by the nice writing duo Christina Lauren was an entertaining, fun, flirty read! It also had its emotional, both nice and terrible, and heartwarming moments as well. Olive Torres is an identical twin and while she and her sister look exactly alike, that is where their similarities end. Olive has usually felt like she was unlucky. It usually seems that when something negative happens she is the common denominator, whereas her twin, Ami, has luck to spare. Ami was able to victory nearly everything, including the honeymoon, for her wedding. When Olive learns she's going to have to deal with her nemesis, Ethan Thomas, the finest lad and brother of the groom, she's not thrilled. She's known Ethan for years, but she won't ever forget one of the first times they met and how he's brushed her off since that time. On the day of Ami and Dane's wedding, everyone in attendance at the reception, with the exception of Olive and Ethan, end up with meal positioning, meaning the bride and groom can't take the all inclusive honeymoon they had won. When Ami suggests that Olive and Ethan take the honeymoon in she and Dane's zone, they originally think it's a crazy concept, but knowing what it would mean to the couple, they suck it up and decide to go. While the trip to Maui runs off with a boatload of tension, as Ethan and Olive launch to obtain to know one other they realize that the original concept they had about one other was now one large misunderstanding. As they grow closer, Ethan shares stats with Olive that makes her mind race and leaves her extremely conflicted. Olive is forced to examine many of the relationships in her life, not to mention the very newest one she is forming with Ethan. As we transport through the ebook, Olive is challenged and is given the opportunity to really take a look at her life and the things she has usually thought were important. She is able to grow from the things she has to face and the tough decisions she has to create. In the end she is glad with the person she becomes, which is nice to see. As I claimed at the outset, this was a fun, flirty and entertaining romance. Christina Lauren did a nice job with it and I enjoyed it very much.
