been using with no troubles actually for 2 weeks and today I tried to create an "uncharacteristic" buy and couldn't. chatted with two different help recipients about the trouble and got two very wildly different answers and actually cannot create any purchases at all using the release and have tried for the THIRD time today to talk to a help rep didn't even obtain any response this time around.

poor. verified identity including social and no payment types were accepted (blocked for safety). I tried two major credit cards and my personal bank stats. The frustrating part is customer service is zero support as they're unable to access any stats about the decline. So I basically just gave this release all of my personal stats but can't use it.

On March 20, 2019, someone got on my Venmo and tried to send themselves or someone else $1500. $1500 that I did not have in my bank profile, in fact I only had a couple hundred. So what did Venmo do? rather than realizing that $1500 is FAR more than anything I should afford or have even spent on Venmo and contacting me to create sure it wasn't fraud (LIKE DECENT COMPANIES DO), they decided to "cover" me and send it anyways. Worst app process ever. First I was supposed to obtain a text verifation, but did not. Place in 2 valid cc's which they declared "terrible." When I named, although they had already gotten enough stats to verify my ID, their truly incipid supervisor refused to honor a valid state issued ID, which they had asked for. A stupid and unnecessarily cumbersome process. Their parent Co, PayPal, could know better.

Worst release for dollars out thetr. i will stick to dollars where they know what they are doing. I launch an profile and I got to order meal actually my profile on keep for who-knows-how-long because of safety trouble I test to use it once because my dude sent me dollars to obtain meal and actually it's on keep and I can't obtain meal so long run do not ever use venmo do not download it it's a waste of your time stick to dollars out or in normal bank or something different but venmo will screw you over in a second.

I couldn't even obtain past the part where I entered my device number to verify for a code. I place the number in 20 to 30 some-odd times and I either got an HTTP 400 or HTTP 406 error message. Doing all of this for verification and safety purposes is all well and nice and all but what I went through was ridiculous. Save your breath and go with Dollars Soft if you wanna send dollars.

This release takes longer to deposit dollars into your bank and is accepted in less territories than PayPal. I don't need cutsie tiny emoji's as an option. Essentially, this release is like PayPal only not as needed. It makes Millenials feel like they are doing something "different" and "bucking the system". It's pointless and I don't like using it.

Horrible experience. I was claimed venmo was a much better idea to go than PayPal. I disagree emphatically. Dollary has been stuck in limbo on my profile for few days after trying to access it through the very card they issued me. Few device calls and correspondence my ID and they still won't claim me how and when I can access my dollars. I'm done with them once I have my dollars. Ridiculous.

Largest mistake, I have $2000 in my Venmo profile and I went to the grocery shop to buy groceries. Well to my surprise according to the Venmo representative the system didn't like my transaction so it declined it. When I asked him that why would it decline if the dollars was in there he stated he didnt know why. All he cam do was recommend I go back to the grocery shop later on tonight and see if it goes through. Besides that I would just have to wait!

Venmo won't let me to sign up. They won't approve my cell device number because it is from Republic Wireless, and they reject all RW numbers because they are erroneously classified as VoIP. I have a cell device, not a VoIP. Venmo, through their privacy, chooses not to do business with recipients who don't use the "large 4" cell carriers.

PayPal is still better. I have both to accommodate dudes but PayPal doesn't charge for near immediate withdrawals to checking. Edit after dev response: No confusion, PayPal doesn't charge you to obtain your own dollars. Immediately, or otherwise. Also, I would like the ability to create all my transactions personal, either sending or receiving. THAT information is really stupid. I mean, financial transactions ARE a personal matter. What idiot thought sharing those would be a nice concept?

misleading. The dollars will obtain to your bank when it gets to the bank. The debit card "immediate dollars" information might work but if you are transferring to a bank profile i would recommend you let 3 to 5 business days to access those funds. also, help response seems to be on same timeframe. 1970's checking had a faster turnaround than this pos. last year they settled with the FTC over deceptive practices pertaining to fund transfers so either they are not in compliance or it use to be worse.

THEY LOST MY MONEY! Be aware if you obtain a newest device number. I got a newest number but forgot my password because its been ages since I've used this release. I can restart my password because they wish to send the restart feedback to my old number. I emailed them about this trouble only yo obtain an auto response that lead me to the same article that lead me to E-correspondence them😠. In this process they seemed to have sent a feedback to my old number so actually someone else has access to my profile and my dollars.

I haven't had any troubles sending and recieving funds. Even though I did have troubles syncing my bank profile to transfer funds within 3 days. After they created a venmo card, I don't have to worry about losing dollars by transferring immediately anymore. I have used the card at USH, restaurants. You can even split the bill with dudes through venmo when you pay with it.

For the most part I really like Venmo. But twice my bank profile failed to feedback, even though I had paid with it before. I don't know why it randomly decided to "unlink" causing a trouble especially since I required to use it to pay my rent. Tech help was useful, but I really hope they resolve that trouble. I really have no desire to turn my financial transactions into a social media experience. Do you? Be careful about the default settings - they will broadcast each last detail about how you spend your dollars and treat you to the exciting information about your dude's (and complete strangers) split check. Informations continue to be removed from the web release forcing you to use the small release. I miss the old PayPal.

Got defrauded on first attempt at using profile. Another player has blocked me and still have not received goods that were paid for. Have contacted the company and as of yet, has not been resolved. Will gladly change this rating once dollars has been returned. As was stated earlier, fraud happened and has yet to be resolved by company. modernization:company is unable to do anything about the fraud because essentially they only handle dollars side of things, not seller scamming. police report has been filed.

Worst release ever!!! Wouldn't send the code to verify my device and someone had sent me $50. After hours of fumbling finally had the code restart. Then after adding my card it Wouldn't transfer just claimed should not be finished. Tried a different card out claimed the same thing. Wouldn't allow me immediately verify my Bank profile. It gave the same can not be finished. Finally have to manually verify which is 5 business days. The absolute worst. Save your time and just use PayPal.

Yes sending dollars can be simple but it usually isn't. There have been so many times where I change nothing on my profile but I randomly obtain a "bank error" message. Had to uninstall the release, redownload it, and re enter all my stats to obtain the same error. This release is broken, and the fact that you removed the information to send and obtain dollars on your blog is ridiculous. Unfortunately this is how I lay my rent so I have to waste time fixing this, however I wouldnt suggest this release to anyone

Your card sucks!!! Each another time I test and use my card for gas for meal for whatever my transaction is declined due to a safety trouble. It will not allow me create immediate Bank transfers. It did once but none after that. I tried to take my 2 yr old son out to lunch, transaction declined. All I tried to obtain was a Satisfied food for my son, your customer service rep claimed me to do a bank transfer that will take one to three days to complete. So I'm supposed to feed my son 3 days later?

The sign in process is cumbersome: takes too long, needed 2 texts to device for safety. Venmo is useless on a pc. If you are shopping on a laptop (recipients still do that) you need to use your device to pay via the release. I am so irritated, I hope I never am forced to pay this idea again. And no, Venmo, I don't wish to share my Fb dudes with you.

I have used Venmo for few years actually. I had no troubles until I didn't use it for a tiny while. I went to obtain $ I was claimed I have a $30 balance, ironically the amount sent to me. I didn't stress; I figured they'd take the pymnt and my acct would be clear. No only have they not allowed the $30 to clear, for 2wks actually I've been claimed to many pymnt attempts made. A worthless release; they blocked me from transfering dollars to my bank immediately for dollars my mom sent for a house deposit and we may lose the ability to sign for the house because dollars wont be in landlord's hands in 48 hours. Linked to my bank profile so I should have access to funds while I'm awaiting my newest debit card to arrive in the correspondence; I've tried everything (another than person to person transfers) and the ONLY buy I can create is with Uber. Everything else gives errors and reroutes back to PayPal. The hell with this.

having troubles with adding a newest card and customer service claimed there is no idea to support me and operationally they couldn't deliever a human for me to speak with or support, the rep claimed no one should support me. I have dollars someone has paid me and no access to it. will be cancelling this service and letting others know of the poor operations and work flows

I had no troubles until they denied an immediate transfer, which was the entire target of getting Venmo in the first zone. Actually, I won't have my funds until Monday, which is fully inconvenient. Once the transfer is successful, I will be going back to PayPal only. Venmo just lost any future business from me.

Large run-arounds anytime there's an trouble with being able to log in, even if it's an trouble on their end. And very inefficient means to obtain in touch with customer service representatives. Infuriating. Their means of safety by locking out authentic profile owners only create me less confident, because there's no idea to monitor or even see my own stats.

The worst service ever. I can't add my 4 debit cards that I have. I test to chat someone, I don't see anyone writing back and then I obtain on Gmail that I had a conversation. Also, last year you guys stole $69 from my bank and had a negative balance. Closed my profile and tried to reopen it to give it a chance and it claims that my bank is used by other Venmo player. That means that Venmo doesn't now close accounts and they steal dollars from players. Report these false recipients!!!

Been using for a while and had no safety troubles. The request payment information is needed for avoiding awkward talks with forgetful dudes. It's weird seeing what all my dudes pay every another for, but it lets you hold your own venmos personal, so who cares? It's really great how immediate payments are. It takes a day or two to transfer dollars to your bank (for nonpaid. Can be immediate for a fee) but no longer than depositing a check would take. Overall very needed and surprisingly player friendly! ❤ it!!!

Its convenient for getting paid by dudes, but not if you're trying to now recoup that dollars by doing an immediate transfer to your bank. The venmo system can reject it arbitrarily and no reason is given from the system. I just chatted with a rep and he wasnt able to do anything at all- venmo limits their soft and recipients cute badly. If you dont care about speed this qont apply, but if it's anything major you're better off doing dollars or a bank transfer.
