Waste of dollars. I've had this service for about a year actually and was really excited about not having to pay for cable anymore and that I was paying a lot less. This past year, it began to turn blank, restart itself, test, and then turns blank again. It has gotten a lot worse. I just cancelled it and went with Youtube TV. I went from paying 35 bucks a month with Sling to 50 bucks with the YouTube TV, but hey...at least I should watch my favoured shows in peace. SLING YOU'VE LOST A CUSTOMER!

I was trying to watch NBA, then realized I already have Spectrum TV. I didn't need Sling, but I was charged instantly on the same day. Didn't obtain a Unpaid Trial cuz I used the 40% discount. I had cancelled my profile online, but after an hour of waiting on keep and ten mins of arguing with the stupid agent, she connected me to her supervisor and he blamed me for not reading their privacy. They have a NO-REFUND policies. I've never been with a company so pathetic. They won't last long.

Soft constantly freezes, going to a black screen, and buffers. Not worth the aggravation so unfortunately I will be canceling my subscription and going back to Netflix and Hulu. Edited to add: Technical help does NOT work. Judging by another reviews, I am not the only one with this trouble. Perhaps it's Sling that needs the technical help. Will not work, I got an AirTV to record OTA content and it worked for about two weeks them came home one day and nothing. Rest the device and still does not work. Tech help does not exist device number just rings. STAY AWAY FROM THIS and obtain the Fire Recast cost more but is a better peice of hardware.

Just modernized the release 3 days ago, modernization claimed "improvements to speed and stability." Soft is still destroying and screen goes black frequently while watching on Galaxy S10e. I love Sling but this is getting frustrating.

been utilizing your release for 3 years after the last modernization it crashes continuously on my cell device and freezes my cell device so that no calls or anything else can go on. thank goodness I still have a battery that I can remove because that is the only idea I'm able to restart my device when your release crashes. I see there's an modernization as of the sick so I am attempting the modernization to see if that fixes the trouble. prior to all of this it was a terrific release

it's ok. shows buffer or fully hang up often. all espn channels aren't even watchable due to this trouble. not a connection trouble cause it happens on cell service and a several different WiFis. and whenever you resume a present, it automatically goes back a nice 10 min from where you left off, and speedy forward option isn't very nice and you have to watch bonus commercials each time you speedy forward or rewind, which is annoying

false advertising. I have the airtv. Instructions claim you can setup dvr via a nonpaid sling profile. There is no nonpaid sling profile. It forces you to pick service and place in cc. This is to use the local Difficult drive on the device.

over all, pleased with the Sling service. I have the Sling Blue box, which has cute much all the channels we watch with any regularity. The Mobile release is cute nice, but should use more polish. needs to add help for Oreo's picture-in-picture capability like YouTube and PlutoTV apps. Also would be great to have zoom capability to fill 18:9 Pixel display. AirTV integration works reasonably well, though sometimes the connection to my AirTV box times out.

I love having access to all my favoured channels again. The 2 troubles I have: some channels slash to banners at akward moments (like in the middle of a stage) and during the last several mins of shows it cuts out so you miss some dialog that is sometimes important to the present.

wow the buffering is insane. from updating from an S7 to an S8, downloading all their upgrades nothing has worked. I spend more time watching black screen, then buffering, then commercials, and if I'm lucky some of my present. I've been with sling for over a year, the quality of service has just gone downhill, I will be canceling before the next billing cycle.

Poor service. I paid $35 to watch the Lads's Tennis, live. I was able to watch quarter finals and semi finals on the Tennis Channel no trouble. For the final they decided to only do a replay. Why would I pay $35 and not be able to watch the final? I named them for a refund and all they claimed is "I'm sorry, it will be testing at 2 pm" don't waste your dollars on this. Receive Fubo or Hulu TV where you can now watch what you wish to watch.

slightly frustrating that the ability to pause, speedy forward , rewind has been removed for some channels with on demand... i assumed if you purchased the dvr that functionality would return.. and it does if you record it ahead of time.. but the functionality was there and has on many channels been remove.. thats not limited to this release however.. thats the entire platform. beyond that this is a cute nice service

Quite possibly (no, it IS) the shittiest streaming release/service that can be written. I have subscribed to live streaming of cricket matches..the feedback dont match content. And after a fixed time limit, content changes to something fully different...imagine that, after 3hrs your baseball release changes to some cooking present!!!!

I cannot trust they now charge for this garbage! This release continually pops up an error message claiming that something went wrong with my network. I have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. None of which have any troubles! This error pops up on Sling continually almost each 10 mins! This is on a wired connection with a Roku Ultra. My connection is 200Mbps! Again none of my another streaming services have any troubles at all! This release and network are complete garbage! Stay away!

For me it's nice. I obtain to watch the channels I wish without the troubles I had with cable and satellite. Cable didn't run half the time and satellite in rain or if a tree was blocking it went out. I was usually having to restart it which was a aggravating.

my device and release are both up to date. Sling runs, I go to my desired tool, opens up and runs streaming then less than a minute into watching it goes to a black screen...... and this process repeats itself until you cancel Sling and unistall it for a web TV service that now works. 4g LTE or Wi-Fi doesnt matter, this release is trash. This is my second go at this service and its worse then ever. EZ decesion to go with anyone else imo.

I love sling. It has my favoured chanels and it supports save dollars compared to paying for cable. Frustrated and sad with the last modernization it has caused troubles and actually it no longer connects to my media so i have to watch shows from my device. I hope it gets fixed quick. I use SlingTv on a Samsung Android, Tab A, running Oreo, on wifi network. Modernized release April 2019, and the VIDEO DISAPPEARED. All channels are actually black. I just hear the audio. Happens on ALL channels. June 2019 modernization, no change. Still have sound but NO PICTURE on each channel. I built my network, I know how to troubleshoot. Trouble is on Sling's end. I have FIVE outstanding Problem Tickets, & tech help has never tried to contact me once. Had service for FOUR YEARS. Shame on SlingTv.

Fully unwatchable. IDK how this release has a 3.9 as it's been absolutely poor for about 5 months. Fake reviews, they deleted my terrible review, and they don't listen to our troubles at all. They will charge u without u knowing so watch out. I've had the release for about 2 yrs and it's just recently that's it's been like this.
