They censor nonpaid speech in order to create sure AAA video powerhouses don't obtain negative publicity. Why else would they remove the ability to see the percentage of recipients interested in an incoming video? They are following the same footsteps of IMDB and YouTube. I'm eager to see what replaces this service within 5 years.

Doesn't present all video houses. I was looking to search where a controversial video was testing. The release claimed closest theater it was being shown was 20 miles away from me. I went to the videos blog and it is testing at a theater two miles from my house. At least the another apps present where it's testing even if I can't buy tickets thru the release. Won't use this release again.

Like Rotten Tomtoes Lite, Lite. Far too many significant videos aren't listed, ridiculously precise find terms needed. Idea too many drawbacks to using this release, if one's primary interest is how well or how poorly a video was received, compared to using the blog in a browser. I've had enough and I'm uninstalling after trying to see reviews for Travolta's disaster, Gotti. It may be an terrible video but I can't see how it would be deemed too obscure to merit full inclusion. NO critic reviews?

Almost worthless. Doesn't usually present large opening videos under newest applications--you have to find for it. For example, Dumbo opened today, you have to find for it to see its reviews. Doesn't present you box office rankings--top box office videos are listed in no particular order, often with omissions. The "filmography" of a director or actor shows only 4 or 5 videos, by no means an whole filmography. What the hell happened, why is this release so incredibly terrible?

If you're an advertiser on this release, please read! I just deleted based on noticing how rotten tomatoes is deceptively showing inflated rating on videos they clearly wish to promote, rather than reflect real audience reactions. Rotten Tomatoes is on a Unsafe slope. If I can't believe that audience ratings are truly how another players perceive the video, this release is worthless to me. Delete. I'll search other video release.

nice release turned terrible. I use to love flixster. but actually it only promotes fandango. I find for videos within 25 miles of me and it gives me the one 24 miles away from me first. not the one 2 miles away. that one is simple down at the bottom of the list. why? because closer one does not sell fandango tix. ugh! everything for a buck. will search a newest release.

The newest format for "At home" sucks! You can supposedly sort by version date, but who knows when the videos you're looking at were released, because there's no version date listed. And it only shows maybe 2 weeks of applications.

the app is no longer is accurate and reliable as it used to be. for certain Independent videos and smaller independent theaters or even the landmark chain and misses some of the videos that are testing you maybe able to obtain more accurate stats in your local newspaper. e.g. French dyystopian thriller Transit not listed is testing the DC zone or at the Landmark Bethesda theater but in fact it was so whatever algorithm they're using is screwing up.

Total audience interest percentage for upcoming videos are no longer viewable, effectively removing a widely used information. Audience score and reviews are the only remaining ones that might hold me using this, but such informations and more can easily be found on another more needed (and higher quality) platforms/apps. Edit: I thought maybe I'd test out trailer function. It's terrible. Shows long, high quality banners with no skip button, and the trailers themselves are super compressed, weak quality for me.

Censorship by Flixter, with Rotten Ethics Tomatoes. First they shut down the "Need to See" rating because it "confuses recipients" but don't worry your voices will be heard after videos are released. Then after the video is released they delete 50k voices to raise the rating of the video. Shady practices from a dishonest blog. No matter what side of the Captain Marvel controversy you're on, recipients's voices shouldn't be erased. Nice riddance Flixter release and you're rotten blog.

I used to love this release, but it doesn't work correctly half the time anymore. Theatres in my zone will disappear for weeks at a time and then reappear for no apparent reason. But what's even more frustrating is the 'wish to see' section. Whether it be videos that refuse to leave that section no matter how many times you un-click wish to see, or videos just disappearing from the section entirely. My 'wish to see' section has nothing in it, but it claims there are two videos in it. Actually I have no concept what those two videos are. Very frustrating.

I loved this release previously. It doesn't work half the time anymore, it took away the widget that allow me quickly browse videos that were in theater, and it deleted many of my ratings and tagged as "Need to see." It's effectively unusable these days.

Soft refreshes too often or drops Internet connection. Also when I bought tickets and checked out as a guest the screen went fully white and I have no confirmation of securing the transaction. The payment screen is literally the worse zone to be the worse and it jus happened to me. I'll use Atom and another apps from actually on SMH.

Often buggy, reviews appear to present up later than the desktop web, and doesn't present TV present effects. I search myself going to Rotten Tomatoes on Chrome far more often, as it is more reliable and dispays more stats on the video/present/actor I'm researching. Still waiting for a full-fledged Rotten Tomatoes release; this Flixter release is a bastardization of it.

Why have you listed videos that have yet to launch under the heading 'Box Office?' You've mingle together videos that you can see with videos that you cannot, but it looks like they're all actual. There is also a glitch in your graphic presentation. When the critic score is 100%, it squeezes out the full audience score instantly beside it. So the documentary Apollo II, at present, reads 100% and 9% rather than 100% and 90%.

well I'm finally deleting this release it used to be cute sweet I used this release mostly for DVDs what was out and what was coming out I don't know what they have done to this at but longer works for that I quit going DVDs for at home and are you and it shows a bunch of videos I've never even heard of and when I switch it for coming out quick it does not present any videos at all maybe this release has definitely gone downhill!!!

Customer reviews are full of upvote bots. Nearly all the critics give positive reviews regardless of merit because they wish to continue getting early access from companies in the future. Videos that have an overall weak audience score have actual non-bot negative reviews removed to save face if the company that place it out has a tiny dollars and influence. Real critique is non-existent and the scores do not reflect the truth.

The newest ver no longer lists one of our favoured theaters. Is that because it was a 2nd run theater? Either idea, probably going to test another options, as the newest interface is also type of worse, IMO. ... After trying Fandango, it seems that they are probably the trouble, as Flixster uses their time. Still not changing my stars until the Crest Cinema is back. Modernization: the release does not use a wake lock while showing previews, which means the screen will turn off mid test. Down to 1 star.

The release is nice (when it works). This release is basically a loading wheel simulator. Any tiny thing you do it takes forever to load; and this is about 80% of the time. Forget about trying to watch a Video trailer; you will be stuck in loading hell (and it will never now load).

This release has started running very slow!! please fix it. I used to use this all the time. It's doing this on my galaxy s8 and my wifes iPhone 8 plus. Also, can you guys remove the useless rotten tomato scoring. Everyone knows their scoring has nothing to do with how nice a video is. Would be cool to replace rotten tomato scoring with a video score based on age and gender though. The reviewer should just pick their age & gender before giving the score. I feel this would be more useful.
